Technologies, solutions and trends for the future secondary market
The Automechanika Innovation Awards, which will be presented this year, not only demonstrate the innovative power of Aftersales, but also reflect the current trends in the industry as the thematic spectrum of the 133 entries submitted by 99 exhibitors is extremely broad
It ranges from paint care products made from renewable raw materials, recovery systems for vehicles with battery fires, to highly complex laser scanners that scan entire car bodies in minutes. The trend towards digitising devices, tools, components and connecting them to workshop IT systems is unabated.
Innovation4Mobility
The "Innovation4Mobility" section, which presents future solutions for connected vehicles and environmentally friendly mobility, will feature a wide-ranging programme of lectures. Experts from companies such as Audi, ADOBE, ABB, Bosch, Ebay, Google and the Toyota Mobility Foundation will speak on topics such as connected cars and autonomous driving, electromobility, hydrogen and alternative fuels, among others.

What will the workshop of the future look like?The Future Workshop 4. 0 section of the upcoming Atuomechanika provides the answer. The innovation palette showcases the technologies, processes and business models of the future, offering trade visitors valuable insights into how operations can be made more efficient and how business models can be designed. To this end, the structure of a classic car dealership will be depicted in a realistic and practical way. Along the Customer Journey, visitors can learn about innovative technologies and test them at selected stations.
Practical workshops with car carers
A total of eleven workshops in German and English on accident damage restoration will take place daily, presenting the most important stages of the work: from systematic damage recording and calculation, FUP and bodywork, to digitisation, painting and ADAS calibration.
