Service includes scheduled work that applies to all cars and additional work that depends, for each car, on the length of time and mileage. In general, we can say that the work carried out as part of periodic maintenance includes:
- oil change (depending on the type specified by the manufacturer)
- replacement of the air filter
- replacement of the oil filter
- replacement of the petrol/oil filter
- replacement of the passenger cabin filter
- replacement of scintillators (spark plugs)
- replacement of the accessories belt
- replacement of the timing belt
- topping up the windscreen cleaner
- topping up or replacing the radiator fluids (paraflux)
- checking the brake fluid level
- checking the vehicle's brakes (pads, discs, etc.) and replacing them where necessary
- checking the steering of the car
- control of the battery charging system (dynamo)
- checking the lights (position, directional, turn signal, reverse, fog, number plate, cab, etc.) and changing bulbs where necessary
- lubrication of moving parts
- lubrication of the doors and locks of the vehicle
- checking the condition of the car's tyres
- control of wiper wear
